A product format tells only part of the story. Oils, gummies, isolates and animal products can use different ingredients and are subject to different requirements.

Questions to ask

• What is the full ingredient list?
• How much CBD is stated for the whole container and each measured amount?
• Are other cannabinoids reported?
• Which batch does the supporting document cover?
• What storage instructions and expiry information are supplied?

Allergens and dietary preferences

Never assume a product is allergen-free, vegan, sugar-free or suitable for a particular diet unless the current specification confirms it.
